We came across this lovely Woodland Peony one May in northwest China, and we've been impressed with its dense, ferny foliage and neat habit. We especially like the way the small rose-pink single flowers bob above the mass of leaves. It remains under 2 feet in height and looks best towards the front of your garden. Our well-established seedlings should begin flowering in a couple of years or so. Z. 5-8
