This New Jersey native (among other places) is a great plant for the wildflower garden. The narrow gray-green leaves look silvery in the glinting summer sun, and in late summer and early fall multitudes of chalky white flowers only add to the somewhat ghostly effect of this vase-shaped perennial to 3-4 feet.
