A truly captivating new selection, 'Evan Saul' produces fragrant flowers which in bud appear to be rosy red, but as the quills unfurl, they gradually turn a rich orange and measure about 3 inches across. Flowers are held on sturdy stalks, and the plants grow about 2 feet high and wide. PP 17659.

This new Coneflower introduction has bicolor hints of light orange with a rose-colored halo surrounding the central cone, often several hues and shades present at once, as the newer flowers color up and the older ones begin to fade. This brilliant new Echinacea must be seen to be believed! Fragrant flowers first open red-orange, and as they expand, the flowers lighten to golden orange and orange with golden streaks. A single plant creates a multicolored display. Plants are on the tall side, reaching 40 inches, and perfect for anchoring the middle of a perennial border, where a more demure plant might be overlooked. Don't worry—you won't overlook this one!

An amazing blend of colors! Flowers open green, but as they mature, a rose shading slowly infuses the petals from the base outwards so that there is a constantly changing array of rose and green. Plants are compact, and flowers are held upright on strong stems, reaching 20 inches.
